This special video offers a step-by-step tutorial on creating a beaded Orange Shirt Pin, paired with teachings rooted in Indigenous culture. As you bead, you’ll hear a moving story from Sharlene Bomberry, a survivor of the Mohawk Institute Residential School.
Through Sharlene’s words, we’ll reflect on the lasting impact of residential schools and the importance of remembrance, healing, and cultural expression.
