Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario, Shkaabe Makwa at CAMH and Indspire co-hosted and recorded a meaningful conversation about mental health, substance use and self-care. We know that times have been challenging, so we invite you watch and discover tools to help you build and maintain your own wellness.

Hear from amazing speakers including:

  • Dr. Christopher Mushquash is Ojibway and a member of Pays Plat First Nation. He is a Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Mental Health and Addiction, and a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Lakehead University and the Division of Human Sciences at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.
  • Jason Mercredi is of Métis, Denesuline, and Scottish ancestry, born and raised on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis. Jason is the Executive Director at Prairie Harm Reduction. He has been with Prairie Harm Reduction for the past 9 years and has worked in Community Based Organizations for over 17 years.
  • Knowledge Keeper Debbie Huntinghawk is Anishinaabe and a member of Skownan First Nation, Manitoba.
  • Elder Ronald Linklater, Couchiching First Nation, ON.
